A word from daniel

Most people in America assume there are only two parties involved in an insurance claim: the insured whose property was damaged, and the insurance company who has to pay for their policy-holders’ lives to get back to normal. The insurance companies have hordes of adjusters to look out for their interests, and the insured has the opportunity to hire a public adjuster to stand up to them.

The reality is that there is a third group of people, the people that do the actual work; restoration professionals and contractors. The vast majority of whom are small business owners, the backbone of this country. If they’re lucky they have someone on staff that knows how to use Xactimate. If not they have to either hire someone like us to help out or just leave money on the floor. With so many choices for remote estimating available to you, I’m going to take some time to tell you why we’re your best choice. First of all, I got my start in this industry working for a plumbing and water damage company. After a short time I was managing the whole shop, 7 field techs, 3 other office staff, and 20 installers. I noticed we were spending a lot of money for a remote estimator and our bills were getting cut in half or more. So I pitched my boss on the idea to do it in house. After training I took it upon myself to learn every angle and all the ins and outs.

To be completely honest I liked writing estimates more than I liked running that office, and it occurred to me that if my little shop needed someone like me then a bunch more probably did too. Eventually I outgrew that role and went on to estimating full time.

In the last five years I have never lost a client. Contractors know that if something isn’t broken you don’t fix it… there’s plenty of broken stuff that does need fixing to worry about.

My goal is to get your company paid as much as I possibly can for the work you’ve done or will do. That’s it. To accomplish this with every job you get unlimited revisions until you’re happy, and unlimited revisions during negotiation until you settle with insurance. You get a 24 hour turnaround on all mitigation invoices and 48 hour turnaround on all reconstruction estimates.
